Happy New Year Dear Friends!!!!
I know I am a bit late... but what to do..........some unexpected and sad news in the family. We lost someone in our family which came as a shock to us...:(I want to share my blogging experience today. Actually I had started this blog in 2010 but I had not paid much attention towards its design and other settings....
I hadnt added ( hadn't bothered) any widgets or any information in any of my art work.... and I had added only some of my drawings and nothing more......(as it is I am not good at words )
One day I came across this blog Celebrate Creativity in all its Form by Lisa Tutman Oglesby. She has an amazing blog which deals in everything from crafting to cooking to home decor....All her projects are very beautiful, easy and most important very stylish . Her tutorials are very easy to follow.
I had left a comment on one or two of her projects and she came back and checked my blog... Since my blog's settings didnt allow her to leave a comment, she sent me a mail about that matter.....
That was my first comment and my source of inspiraton.... I changed my blog design and settings.... and now my page view has gone up to 10,000 plus.... and 32 followers........... :)
(This may sound insignificant compared to others but I am totally happy)
The next blog from which I was totally inspired was, is and will be.... Anne Martin's All Things Paper . She is a quiller and she features other paper quillers as well as other artists who create amazing things using paper. Her blog is very very amazing and I started Quilling after browsing her blog... Even in her Facebook page you will find loads links to some amazing crafts. Her blog has been a very great source of inspiration for me..... Go check out for yourself .....and enjoy crafting..............
Do check out Janelle's lovely blog Of Pink and fairy Tales. She blogs about crafts, her stitching experience , crochet, her life and her cute daughter. She featured me in her blog!! It was the first time I had been interviewed by someone...It was an amazing experience . And I can say that she has become more of a friend than just a blog pal.... Thanks once again Janelle.
Dr Sonia S V, an ENT Specialist, a crafter and a blogger.....You can find a lot of beautiful and yet stylish doable projects for your kid's school projects. Also her Pop-up cards are amazing and I have been wanting to try a few of them in the near future ( I have been saying this for a lot of time.... :( ) If you are interested in recycling, or do you want to make some floral projects, paper quilling, pop up cards, salt clay dough projects head over to Cards, crafts and School Projects.
If you love drawing and painting like me, then head over to Kleurrijk Aquarellen and Helen Strom.
I wish I could paint and draw like these two artists... Whenever I visit their blogs I wish to work more hard towards improving my drawing skills but sigh... Iunfortunately I dont... I am hoping this year I will stick to this resolution...
I recently came across this blog My Owl Barn If you are a lover of owls, then this is the place you want to explore.....You will find owls, owls and more owls.....There are some lovely owl pictures, paintings, owl ornaments, owl household articles and much more....
I want to write about many other amazing blogs too, but will restrain myself from doing so for now, because of the shortage of time.... Will do that in the near future...
Am getting busier by the day.......... have done a few crafts and drawings hope to post them soon......
Also all this would not have been possible if not for my family and friends. They have been totally supportive throughout my bad and good times.........and encourage me to experiment in my life........
More of that some other time....
