Paper Bags :)

Recently I had got an order to make 30 paper bags!!!!!

Yes my first ever order!!!!!!

And I made them tooo :)

These are nearly 4.5" by 4.5"

These are blue in color....

And these are dark green and not black as they look....

Gifting Ideas!!!!!!!!

Here are a few ideas for gifting for the Christmas, new year ad the wedding season.........
This first one ..... I had made this one for my neighbour's child's Birthday......
Simple flower............Easy to make and it looks great tooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

These bags , I had made during Diwali..... The funny part is that, the sweet boxes which I had brought didnt fit into these bags....

Well at the last minute I had to make new bags for the sweets and in a hurry, I forgot to take the photoes... :(

Anyway I used these for gifting books to a few children!!!!!!

Have used Zari tapes .... which gives these newspaper bags more strength.... and goes with the festive mood too!!!

This box contains some tiny ceramic jewellery boxes and was meant for a wedding.....

This friend of mine loves everything natural and recycled......

So I decoratedd this box using these pressed flowers.......which I have many and yet I found it hard to part with... ;)
Well thats me.... cant help it :)

Funny right? Ya!! THis one was for my kiddo's friend who is a bit bossy and likes to race in his bicycle throughout the day...!!!!!!

This one was an experiment !!!

Well I am not so satisfied with this one.... have to try again!!!!

Again this one was for a wedding!!!!

MY FIRST BAG

YIPPIEEE!!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time I have tried to and finished a bag in my whole life... Never thought I would stitch a complete bag in my life...I have tried to make bags and purses .... but have never completed them.... coz I dont know anything about stitching.... Anyway, I like to learn and experiment... and here is the result of my learning.... I just took a few photographs throughout the process of cutting and stitching this bag and I am posting only those photoes..... This is for the main body of the bag...

and this is for the flap...

I then made a few pockets and stitched them to another cloth and then I stitched it to the main part of the bag....

....and this is the strap.....

After I stitched all the pieces together, I took a welcro(dont mind abt the spelling)

and first applied glue and then stitched it..

After that I made these using ribbons, and same cloth... and glued and stitched them an a cloth of the same material....

I then cut off the extra piece... and then again glued and stitched it to the bag...

And lo my first completed bag is ready....

We often tend to fill our totes and vanities with all our ‘essentials’,
and when necessary, we search and search and search……………..
So here is an organizer which we can place in our bags……


I had tried this organizer a few months ago and hadn’t thought of blogging it, so I have not taken any photos while stitching........

But next time I surely will take photos……
