Rosettes Hairpins

I have not posted anything recently...

Family problems and health issues.......

This is a felt rosett which I used it as a hairpin for my daughter.

Actually I had planned all my blog posts of  February earlier, and so until these days I had to just reply on the comments...............

Now I am taking pics of my recent works and will have to upload them as soon as possible....

Gifting Ideas!!!!!!!!

Here are a few ideas for gifting for the Christmas, new year ad the wedding season.........
This first one ..... I had made this one for my neighbour's child's Birthday......
Simple flower............Easy to make and it looks great tooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

These bags , I had made during Diwali..... The funny part is that, the sweet boxes which I had brought didnt fit into these bags....

Well at the last minute I had to make new bags for the sweets and in a hurry, I forgot to take the photoes... :(

Anyway I used these for gifting books to a few children!!!!!!

Have used Zari tapes .... which gives these newspaper bags more strength.... and goes with the festive mood too!!!

This box contains some tiny ceramic jewellery boxes and was meant for a wedding.....

This friend of mine loves everything natural and recycled......

So I decoratedd this box using these pressed flowers.......which I have many and yet I found it hard to part with... ;)
Well thats me.... cant help it :)

Funny right? Ya!! THis one was for my kiddo's friend who is a bit bossy and likes to race in his bicycle throughout the day...!!!!!!

This one was an experiment !!!

Well I am not so satisfied with this one.... have to try again!!!!

Paper Boxes!!!

Finally I did it!!!!!
Yesterday I had posted about these paper flwers and finally I have made these origamy boxes!!!!
I had never thought that I would complete these boxes by today................:) :) :)

These can be used for gifting purpose......what with Diwali season and all!!!!!
I am going to use these and make some more too.......

Paper Flowers............

I had made these paper flowers last week..........

The first two flowers are made of magazine cover sheets...

The next tho are made out of magazine sheets

And the next three flowers are made of regular A4 sheet.......

Am hoping to make some useful things out of these......that tooo hopefully by tommorrow!!!! :)

Gifting Ideas

Need some gifting Ideas? Here is one I did yesterday..... Though I wont be explaining each and every step... I have a Tutorial.... I have used newspaper to make these gifting bags.... I I have not taken any measurements.... You have to go by your own measurement..

Use a lot of glue at this stage to stick the ends....

Though most of you might have seen tutorials of rosettes in various blogs....

I thought of adding mine too...

And then paste these rosettes on the newspaper bag....

I prepared two newspaper gift wrapping bags...

RECYCLING AND QUILLING

Recycling again…. It had been many days since I did paper quilling....... and while I was thinking of doing some more recycling , this idea occurred . Though I wanted to post it on friday or saturday(before Earth Hour), I couldnt... because of the weekend bug...;)) In today’s blog, I have posted a flower bunch. I made the flowers using old newspaper..using paper quilling method, and glued it to an old Tulsi twig….. I thought of painting the twig white….. But then I thought to leave it natural…. Please do leave your comments and opinion…..
