200th POST!!

A big Hello to all!!! This is my 200th post !!! Cant beelieve it....:D . I started this blog on 19th of April 2010. I just wanted to blog about my drawings, painting and a few m-seal stuff that I had made. Didn't know the abcds of the blogworld, but I just started it off. I don't post regularly nowadays, but still somehow I have managed to garner 80 plus followers on my blog and a fair amount of viewership too!! Thanks for all the support and encouragement. I have learnt a lot after I entered this blog world!!

Today I am posting the pics of the hand fan that I had made for my sister's wedding. We have this tradition of greeting the groom and groom's relatives with a nicely decorated hand fan. So I made this. tried decoupage on it ... It was not that successfull. then I gust gave a coat of paint an d did a bit of quilling and pasted a pic of my sister and brother-in-law and a few peacock feathers. That's it for now. Will be back soon!!

Hi all !!! I am blogging after a real loong time.... Had been busy with sister's wedding, daughter's exams and a small exhibition. So had no time to blog. I have been doing stuff which I hope to post whenever possible. 

But since I am in my 3rd year of BFA, and loads of assignments to be completed before 18th of this month, can't tell if I will be keeping up my promise of blogging regularly. I have also been trying to learn to bake... So yeah all these things are keeping me reeeaally busy :-D. 

So, for today I am posting a few pics of the ear rings that I had made for the exhibition. Hope to see you soon( psst will try n schedule my posts if possible so that I don't look tooo absent in the blog world :-P)

Hello All!!!

These are a few earrings I made recently. I had made many more, but my sister who was visiting me recently nicked a few of them and she has told me that she will be sending the pics of those earrings as soon as possible. 

I do have a few more pieces of jewellry that I have made. I have to click pics of those and will post them when I do so. 

Ribbon flowers

I am trying to keep up the promise of posting regularly and so here I am!!!

This summer I made more than 300 flowers like these. We had a family function for which my mom needed these to gift to the ladies along with a few bangles and a blouse piece. Didn't have the chance to take a final pic after I finished up the flowers.

Watercolor Painting- Animals

Hey All!!! Yeah I am trying to post as regularly as possible :-)

My next post is also from my assignment. Even here I have taken reference from the internet... The birds from Grow Creative Blog. Rest unknown.... Painting especially watercolor , I find it quite difficult :(. Am still a learner and so I find a lot of flaws in my paintings , especially when it comes to realistic art. Like here , though I loved the horses, I didn't know which colour should I be using for the background. Because of which the whole painting loses its beauty. So if anybody could advise me on that it would be more than welcome.
