I Love peacock....
They are beautiful, bright, magestic ......well everything....
This is the centre part of my Kinnala Art ....which I am planning to post asap..
Well coloring is not my cup of tea..... Except for charcoal and sometimes oil painting I am not good at Coloring ...Though I am happy with my pencil and paper, sometimes I like to dabble with colors....This is a picture of Kalamkari design from some magazine... I liked it very much so I tried to do a few peacock drawing in Kalamkari style...
Kalmkari is both a textile tradition and an art form from Andhra Pradesh...
Here I tried to draw peacock using the same style of drawing.... using pencil...sketch pens and crayons..
Well as I said.. coloring is not my cup of tea..
After much experimentation... I tried to repair it with sketch pen and this is the result...
This is another peacock using the same method.... but here I drew the outline using sketch pen and then I coloured using crayons..

We Indians are very familiar with these designs...especially South Indians..
These Peacock designs can be foung in our Silk sarees and temple carvings...
